I'm a simple girl hungry for a little change.
An engineer obsessed with mobile gadgets. A diehard researcher of all things edtech. A tinkerer & lego lover.
Constantly captivated by their enigmatic smiles, an eager explorer of students' intellect.
A believer in collaboration of the mind and soul. A semi-sane person who has trouble stepping off her soapbox.
I'm an edtech innovator.
Over the past few years, I've honed in on a niche market that I'm relatively obsessed with: disrupting education in classrooms over mobile devices. I've worked with various companies to this end, in India, Cambodia, and the US, and I've worked with some of the most incredible professors, researchers, businesses, organizations, and change-makers to try and discover what has worked and what has failed in bringing high-quality education to the masses. I believe that technology is not the end-all, be-all solution but an incredible tool we can capitalize upon to truly level the playing field. I believe all children can and will learn, it is simply a matter of the opportunities they have to learn and how their learning connects with their lives today. I also believe most of the sexiest, easily funded educational tools out there have nothing to do with actual classroom disruption. They are quite simply quick fixes that disregard deeper systemic issues. I believe if you want to disrupt a classroom, you figure out how to help the teacher.

I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. ...And that enables you to laugh at life's realities.— Dr. Theodor Seuss
The probability that we may fail in the struggle ought not to deter us from the support of a cause we believe to be just.— Abe Lincoln
